Q: My TV only has component video inputs (no HDMI or DVI), it is 1080i native resolution. How can I hook up the hdmi output of a new blue ray or hd dvd to this set?

A: A very good question!  While you can't connect a new Blu-Ray or HD-DVD to your existing TV via HDMI, you can still use the component video inputs.  While you will not experience the full 1080P capabilities, you will still see a wonderful picture.  In fact, chances are it will be the best picture you have ever seen on your TV.
Another solution would be to connect your Blu-Ray to a surround sound receiver with HDMI and then let the receiver send the signal to your TV via component video.  Either way...what a picture!
